Art Vessel Campaign

Communication | Branding

Collaborators: Nicolas Villegas Paucar

The Art Vessel Experience uses workshops to guide you through the process of an artist using paper projects.

The company’s previous positioning lacked clarity of their offerings and its benefits. So the challenge for this campaign was: how do we communicate the fun-ness of Art Vessel workshops?

We believe in Art Vessel’s power of experience, so we developed the concept, “Turn your experience into art” to communicate a sense of adventure and satisfying results the customer will want to take home and display.

Video Manifesto

Posters and TikToks

“Turn your experience into art” allows for several campaign possibilities. To demonstrate the feeling of flowing creativity out of art-making, this campaign playfully merges illicit drugs with paper art. This situation pairs typical phrases you might hear from people doing drugs, those warning against drugs, or your parents lecturing you about drugs with Art Vessel’s paper sculptures and drug paraphernalia.

Landing Page

I created a landing page to showcase the campaign, continuing to integrate the language I used in my adverts for CTAs.

Mockups

To bring the campaign to life, I created mockups to advertise Art Vessel further. Currently, the studio lacks signage, so I mocked up a simple, low-cost sign to display outside.

Additionally, to encourage customers to feel like artists when they leave the studio, I mocked up a tote bag (to carry art supplies) and some mugs (to hold paint brush water). And because no Spanish person is ever without a lighter and tobacco papers in their pockets, I created Art Vessel’s very own drug paraphernalia to sell.

Rebrand

The decision to rebrand Art Vessel was based on a need to connect the spirit of the paper art workshops to its visual identity. The previous identity was more aligned with the Open Studio experiences Art Vessel provides. Because the main selling point of the company was determined to be the workshops, the logo and brand colors needed a bold personality to fit the creative experience of making art.

Light and bright colors are used to reflect this fun creativity, while the shape of the logo mirrors folded paper.
