Thanks to a Graphic Design classmate, I found myself applying to be the Design Editor of NC State’s campus newspaper, Technician during the beginning months of the COVID-19 lockdown.
I was offered the position and accepted it as an opportunity to further my editorial design skills and get involved in a campus organization for once in my life.
As Design Editor, my job involves managing a small group of graphic illustrators and layout designers to produce meaningful images and arrange content in a coherent manner.

My graphic illustrator team was often short-staffed and I’d be asked to design graphics and infographics myself for articles or to advertise an upcoming event. I’ve selected some of my best graphics to showcase below.
